Posing as an object on a building's facade, the sound installation, Whisper, summons passersby into the whisper of a quiet but potent world. Taking place at the molecular scale, the poetic text tells of a porousness and finding throughways to liberated molecular domains of sensibility, intelligence, and desire.

The sound installation was accompanied by a reading performance of Italo Calvino's Mitosis.

Whisper is part of Emma’s ongoing study into the usage of ruptured language to incite emotional states.
